He was predeceased by: his mother Juliana Miramontes. He is survived by: his daughters, Estrella Grado (Jorge) and Elvia Encinas; and his siblings, Hector Encinas, Rosie Villarreal, David Bislar, Toribio Bislar and Rojelio Bislar.
