He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Walter and Mary Daniel McElroy; his sister Sis; his grandfather Daniel; his brother Earl McElroy; his son Tres McElroy; his wife Penny; his daughter-in-law Jody McElroy; and his daughters, Misty (Lynn Williams), Christy (Joe Barksdale) and Adrian Walker. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and one great granddaughter, and also a special friend.
