It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Irene Hawkins in Forney, Texas, born in Orange, Texas, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall P. Ramsey and Lottie Mae Ramsey; her husband Virgil Todd Hawkins, Sr.; her son Virgil Todd Hawkins, Jr.; her granddaughter Stacey Renee Hawkins; and her siblings, Bruce Ramsey and Marie Hood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Jarrett of Ft. Worth, Judy Stephens of Forney, Brenda Termin (Tim) of Canton and Veda Hawkins of Colorado Springs, CO; and her siblings, Barbara Jones of Gilmer, Snookie Ramsey of Portland, OR and Cecil Ray Ramsey of Houston. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
