He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parents, Dr. Ross Merrill Gamble and Margaret Mitchell Gamble; his wife Kathy; his children, Anna and Meg; his father Dr. Ross Merrill Gamble; his former wife Judith Funkhouser Gamble; his sister Betty Gamble Knippenberg; his granddaughter Anistyn James Ragan; his son Ross Matthew Gamble (Mindy); his grandchildren, Seth, Megan, Erin, Caitlin and Christian; his great grandchildren, Jay Ross, Aviana, Hattie, Irie, Strayer, Harper, Semper and Hayden; and also Many.
Memorial donations are suggested to be made to World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA where Ross spent many years as a Docent.
