It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Earl Jones of Flower Mound, Texas, born in Hereford, Texas, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. S. Jones and Elsie Gravely Jones; his wife Shirley Laverne Whatley; his siblings, James (Christine), Gary (Dorothy), Norman (Dianne), Ron (Stacey), Joyce (Phil Mitchell), Carol Newton and Judy (Doug Neu); his sons, Terry (Pat) and Kerry (Valerie); and his grandchildren, Kanah Jones (Brooke), Aaron Jones (Rebecca), Meagan (Joe Lodzinski), Lacey (Cody Cunningham), Austin Jones (Emily), Justin Jones (Lupita) and Lesley (Michael Jarboe). He was also cherished by great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Community Assembly of God Church, 2525 Forest Vista Drive, Flower Mound 75028.
