He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Smith and Marion Frank Smith; his wife Sheryl Lynn Deutsch; his children, Michael Smith (Kimberly) of Erie, Kelly Smith Whitney (Geoff) of Flower Mound, TX and Janet Smith Steuart (Andrew) of Beaverdam, VA; his grandchildren, Kory Smith (Sandra), Kristen Smith, Maxwell Whitney (Tianna), Samuel, Jackson, Benjamin Whitney, Alyssa, Abigail, Alexander and Aaron Steuart; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Corynne and Jakob Smith; and his sibling Lenny Smith (Alan Smith).
