He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Garza and Maria Garza (Cantu); and his son Daniel R. Garza. He is survived by: his wife Hermina Garza; his son Jaime Garza; his grandchildren, Jamie Daniel Garza, Isiah Cruz Garza and Joe Austin Garza; and his sisters, Connie DeLa Garza and Lydia Martinez. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
