She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram Zavala and Maria Ramona Robles; her husbands, Cirilo Hernandez and Gilberto "Beto" Cantu; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Salazar; her siblings, Cenovio Zavala (Josie), Mary Gutierrez (Elijio) and Tomasa Masara (Vicente); and her brother-in-law Amadeo Hernandez.
She is survived by: her children, Freddie Hernandez, Cirilo Hernandez Jr. (San Juanita), Hope Garay (Juan), Charlotte Trinidad (Leandro) and Bertha C. Salinas Jr. (Sostenes "Sonny"); and her sister Theresa Hernandez. She is also survived by 4 Step Children, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
