He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufino Puente and Maria Hernandez Puente; his brother Frank Ramon; his stepmother Teresa Puente; and his brother-in-law Floyd Henry.
He is survived by: his sisters, Maria Teresa Henry of Corpus Christi and Victoria Stewart of Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
