He was predeceased by: his parents, George Holcombe and Effie Hankins Holcombe; his son Robert Locke; and his siblings, Glenn, Jim, John, Oscar, Taylor, Ewel, Hazel Kulms and Maebell Biddy.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Holcombe; his children, John, Ivan, Anna and Mary; his sisters, Ruth Ellison and Josephine Lively; his grandchildren, Nick Silva, Tim Burke, Patrick Silva, Katie Myllykangas, Ryan Schulmeier and Camryn Holcombe; and his great grandchild Clint Myllykangas.
