He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo Ortiz and Georgia Flores Ortiz; his children, Eddie Ortiz, Rene Ortiz and Rebecca Martinez; and his siblings, Rudy Ortiz and Magdalene Ximenez.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Ortiz; his daughter Tracy Ortiz; his stepsons, Darren Jenkins (Tami), Matt Jenkins (Jan) and Lee Jenkins; his grandchildren, Ashley, Rene, Isabel, Abby, Jesse, Desiree, Eddie James, Averie and Allie; his sisters, Mickey Saldana (Joe), Julia Perez and Jackie Rogers; and his pet Kain.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations made be made out to Wilson County No Kill Animal Shelter, in Floresville, Texas.
