He is survived by: his former wife Stella Louise Helton; his wife Stella Helton Deskin; his daughter Laura Deskin of San Antonio; his stepchildren, Bill Mitchell of San Antonio, Pam Fultz (Robert) of Kyle, Olen Umphers of San Antonio, Tony Umphers (Loretta) of Converse and Preston Umphers (Cyndi) of Floresville; his granddaughter Kayla Deskin of San Antonio; his stepgrandsons, Joseph Umphers and Marshal Umphers; and his brother Allen Deskin of Fairview, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
