It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Watkins of Farwell, Texas, born in Canute, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Watkins and Nina Watkins (Rea); and his brothers, Gilbert Watkins and Leonard Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Lila Garrett; and his children, Scott Watkins of Watertown, Rory Howard (Susie) of Dallas, Rocky Howard (Nikki) of Portales, Billy Howard (Brenda) of Talihina, Oklahoma, Sandy Howard (Grubb) of Clovis, Jill Bonner of Amarillo, Tresban Giron (Orlando) of Santa Fe and Tracy Velasquez (Bert) of Amarillo, Texas. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren; his 42 great-grandchildren; and his 3 great-great-grandchildren.
