He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ray and Sally Elizabeth Lawson; his siblings, Roy Cawthorne, Raymond Ray Watson, Jr., Jerry Don Watson and Norma Jean Watson Owens; his mother-in-law Bessie Mae Speed; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Wayne Speed, Robert Glen Speed, Jerry Speed, Betty Ann Speed and Donna Kay Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Speed Watson of Fairfield; his daughter Nancy Watson Randall (Matt) of Southlake, TX; his brother Larry Wayne Watson of Elgin, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Watson of Madisonville, TX, Cynthia Speed of Corsicana, TX, Jeanette Stark (Wayne) of Teague, TX, Patsy Stark, Marsha Speed, Carolyn Stark (Glenn), Mary Stark (Kenneth) and Johnny Speed of Fairfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
