It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Earl Parks Sr. (Fairfield, Texas), who passed away on June 28, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Parks and Alice Emeline Parks (Youngblood); his wife Susan; and his granddaughter Stephanie Brooke Parks. He is survived by: his son John Earl; his daughter-in-law Margie Parks, Jr. of Mexia; his son Steven Elliott Parks of Groesbeck; his grandchildren, Breanna Parks, Matt Massey, Kaitlyn Samples, Hannah Samples, Holly Cox, Cres Pedroza, Lauren Cox and Vyncent Gray; his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Jerry Stem of Houston; and his siblings, George Parks, Jr. of Dickenson and Susan Ragle of DeQueen. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
