He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Small and Estelle Griggs Small; his wife Patricia Solomon; his children, Howard Govan (Casey), Daphne White (Adam) of Farfield, TX. and Jamie Waites (Michael); his siblings, Hayward Small (Clara) of Fairfield, TX., Jerry Small and Carolyn J. Huckaby; and his grandchildren, Brodrick White, Howard Jeremaine Govan III, Karonesha Lowery, Hersuniya Govan, Jadelyn Govan, Raylyn, Braylyn Govan, Alexia Jenkins, Maiya, Mykel and Micah Waites. He was also cherished by 7 Great-grandchildren and a host a nieces nephews cousins and other relatives and friends.
