He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bob Chastain and Mary Bloodsworth Chastain; and his spouse Marena Kay Chastain. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Joel, Kurt Bradley, Joey Chastain (Wendy) and Brad Chastain (Randa); his grandchildren, Coltan Chastain, Makayla Chastain, Karlee Chastain and Alli Chastain; and his sister Betty Valentine. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
