It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron Davenport (El Campo, Texas), born in Pelzer, South Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Thomas and Rachel Saxon Davenport; and his wife Bobbie Davenport. He is survived by: his children, Tami Elliott (Jason) of Huntsville, Amanda Davenport of El Campo and Brett Davenport (Nicole) of Houston; his grandchildren, Jayce Elliott, Jalyn Elliott, Harper Davenport, Charlotte Davenport, Riley Davenport, Taylor Davenport and Aubree Drozd; and his sister Sandra Joan Chapman of Anderson.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association or to the charity of one's choice.
