He was predeceased by: his parents, Rigoberto Maldonado and Praxedis Escobar Maldonado; and his brother Ramiro Maldonado. He is survived by: his wife Leticia Maldonado; his children, Raul Maldonado, Jr., Halley, Randy Maldonado (Dorie) and Jovana Gutierrez (Ryan); his grandchildren, Avery and Madison Gutierrez; and his siblings, Rigoberto Maldonado (Juany), Adrianna Maldonado and Marielena Lucio (Hector). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other family members.
