With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Odis Newton (El Campo, Texas), born in Eagle Lake, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2023 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Odis Newton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helena Hansen Newton and W. F.; and his siblings, Ellis, Wade, Forrest and Ida Mae Bloom.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Bacak; and his children, Bill Newton (Carol), Cindy Mathews (Doug) and Bruce Newton (Theresa). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and seven nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Odis may be made to First Lutheran Church in El Campo.
