He is survived by: his wife JoAnn "Cissy" Bartels; his children, Gary Garbs, Misty Bartels and Pamela Bartels (Bryan Bachus); his siblings, Michael and Cheryl Mitchell; his grandchildren, Lawrence Garbs, Jacob Garbs, Chelsea Garbs, Amber Garbs, Lance Garbs, Mackenzie Garbs, Bayleigh Snider, James Snider, III, Keely Snider, Gabrielle Longoria, Logan Bartels and Dakota Bartels; and his great grandchildren, Patricia Garbs, Serenity Buchanan Garbs, Ryder McNabb and Copelan McNabb.
