It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Honea of Dumas, Texas, born in Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Honea and Opal Honea (McKay); his stepfather Paul Wilson; his wife Saundra Hance; his daughter Lisa Casados; his grandchildren, Chris Casados and Trey Tipton; and his great grandchildren, Leland Tipton and Addison Tipton.

He is survived by: his daughter Shari Mason of Dumas; his grandchildren, Crystal Tipton of Amarillo, TX, Ashley Mader (TJ) of Dumas, TX and Allison Mason of Tomball, TX; his brother Neil Honea of Hawaii; his sisters-in-law, Martha Rhynes (Lonny) and Sue Hance; his nephew David; and his niece Jennifer Taylor. He is also survived by his family and friends.
