It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pola Stone of Driftwood, Texas, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roberta Ellis and Austin Ross Ellis; her brother Austin Ellis; her husband Richard Bryan Stone (Dick); her children, Debra Stone Gertz, Richard Bryan Stone, Jr. (Bess) and CeCelia Stone O'Connell (Scott); her daughter-in-law Susan Spalter; her grandchildren, Glen Marshal Gertz (Brittany Cunningham), Emily Stone Wheeler (Patrick), Sarah Stone Teten (William), Jordan Winters O'Connell and Andrew John Stone; her great grandchildren, Willa, Luke, Sarita Wheeler, Catherine, John and Bess Teten; her sister Lucille Ellis Martens; her friends, Diane Cook and Melissa Rodriguez; and also Richard Tyler Gertz.
