She is survived by: her sons, Roland Ruffin, Dexter Ruffin and Kenneth Richards; and her grandchildren, Willie J. Lewis, Mary Jane Ruffin and Donna Subulade. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
