She is survived by: her children, Jose Angel Puente (Laurie) and Maria Magdalena Thompson (Jonathan); and her siblings, Evangelina Anzaldua, Ramiro Ortiz, Danny Ortiz, Rogelio Ortiz and Gloria Perez. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
