He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Jones and Ada Jones; his son Michael Estes; his sister Martha Lorraine Hayes (Maureen); and his grandchildren, Paul Jones and India Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Johanna Jones (Ria); his children, Ray Jones (Jeanine), Bob Jones, Tracy Courtade (Jim), Dr. Brian Jones (Lori), Ethel Remmers (Rodney), Ann Chessher (Jerry), Kathleen Winwright, Anita and Albert Estes (Sharon); his sister Sarah Elizabeth Gatlin (Sally); and his grandchildren, Danny Jones, Alexander Jones, Lee Ann Tumlinson, George Wooddall, Jillian Courtade, Jamie Courtade, Rozlyn Courtade, Lance Courtade, Harrison Jones, Spencer Jones, Jerry Chessher, Jr., Jimmie Chessher, Savannah Remmers, Nicole Remmers, Heather Remmers, Emily Estes and Nathan Fulcher. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
