He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his parents, Max K. Garrett Sr. and Eula Mae Garrett; his sisters, Pat Dering, Nan Hawes and Linda Baldwin; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Dering, Keith Baldwin, Roy Hawes, Bob Bouchard and Dave Bouchard.
He is survived by: his sons, Max K. Garrett III and Shim Garrett; his grandchildren, Lori Garrett, Kim Cann, Hayden Garrett Jr., Morgan Hill, Yateman Garrett (YJ), Lorin Bisig and Emily Cann (Eric Luna); his great grandchild Brooke Luna; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce White, Bernie Bouchard, Fern Bouchard and Jim White. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
