We bid farewell to Wanda Hock Guthrie of Denison, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Wanda Hock touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hock and Beulah Hock; and her husband Carl Guthrie. She is survived by: her sons, Darrell (Sonya Guthrie) and Stewart Dwaine (Helen Guthrie); her siblings, Irene Ferguson of Potosi, Texas and Calvin Hock of Denver, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Angela, Sunny, Tosha, Zac, Nicholas and AC. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel (637 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
