He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Mae Tarrence Heard and George Heard; his siblings, George Heard Jr., Patsy Heard Castle and Marion Joyce "Mimi" Heard Fusaro; his half-brother Jack Kreneck; and also Walter "Buddy" Heard Jr..
He is survived by: his sister JoAnn Kreneck; the mother of his children Lorina B Harris; his daughters, Lauree Koog (Frank Koog), Desiree Chapman and Kellee Pratt (William Pratt); his grandchildren, Melissa Bahena (Netza Bahena), Elizabeth Koog (Lizette Koog), Taylore Thomas (Adam Thomas), Serina Tellez (Gabriel Gonzalez), Matthew Chapman, Maggee Pratt, Tully Pratt, Riley Pratt and Kayla Pratt Creighton (David Creighton); and his great grandchildren, Noah Bahena, Anna Bahena, Jake Bahena, Luke Bahena, Emilia Thomas, Audrina Zapata, Landon Downing and Carter Creighton.
