She was predeceased by: her husband Patrocinio Saavedra; her son Daniel Caspar Saavedra; her parents, Juan Nieto and Rafaela Cornejo; and her son-in-law Salvador Jimenez.

She is survived by: her sons, Baltazar Saavedra (Rachael), Agustin Saavedra (Diana) and Raul Melchor Saavedra; her granddaughters, Maricela Jimenez, Angelica Maria Veliz (Juan Jose) and Graciela Fernandez (Armando); and her brother Juan Antonio Nieto.
