He is survived by: his wife Maria Teresa Cardenas; his children, Rachel Rivera (David Rivera), Roland Cardenas, Sr. and Ruby Cardenas; his grandchildren, Alyra, Asher, Cody, Yesenia, Raul III, Rolando Jr., Brianna, Rodrigo and Roel; his great grandchildren, Angelica, Cody Luka, Caleb Alexander, Joel, Yareli, Mia and Avianna; and his siblings, Maria Elena Peña and Jose Luis Cardenas.
