He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Angel Joven Sr. and Narcissa Chacon Joven; his wife Yolanda G. Joven; his siblings, Francisco, Chias, Asvaldo and Shine; his adoptive son Jasper Dominguez; and his grandson Johnny Alexander Miranda.
He is survived by: his children, Fernando Joven (Odelia Joven), Martha Miranda (Andy Miranda) and Mayor (Jo Ann Joven); and his siblings, Calendario, Rudolf, Fidencio Joven, Marta Spencer Joven and Dora Ponce Joven. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
