He is survived by: his wife Bertha Fernandez Talamantez; his children, Israel Talamantez, Jr. (Susana) and Jeanette Talamantez; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Talamantez, Israel Talamantez, III, Ignacio Talamantez and Susana Talamantez; and his sisters, Elvira Marin, Elsira Reyes, Rosantina Elizondo and Eva Rodriguez.
