She was predeceased by: her parents, Victoriano Rodriguez and Cordelia Rodriguez; her husband Hervey P. Ortiz Sr.; her son Hervey Ortiz, Jr.; and her siblings, Luisa, Arturo, Consuelo, Eli, Concepcion and Jose Antonio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Dee West of Del Rio, Sonia Flores (Armando Flores) of Big Lake and Soila Elida Torres (Gerardo F. Torres, Jr.) of Del Rio; and her grandchildren, Hervey David, June, Jesse, Holly, Michael, Kendra, Veronica, Valerie, Gerardo III and Deja. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
