He was predeceased by: his mother Carmel Akers; his son Jeff Akers; and his former wife Cindy Akers. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Jolly of Azle; his daughter Nicky Akers (Dylan); his grandsons, Christian and Tony Akers; his stepchildren, David, Jay Boyd and Amanda Boyd; his sister-in-law Lisa Barclay (James); his father-in-law Robert Cole Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Cole and Robert Cole II. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a host of friends.
