She was predeceased by: her parents, Fisher Stewart and Oleta Power Stewart; her husband Roy Malvin Smitheman May; her granddaughter Chelsi Hefner; her brother Morgan Stewart; her nephew Randy Kea; and her brothers-in-law, Delmer Kea and Jerry Smitherman.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Lea Smitherman and Ricky Smitherman (Janelle); her grandchildren, Audrey Ryan (David), Robert Luke Perry, Brandon Smitherman (Aimee), Lynnette Remington (John) and Crystal Burton (Paul); her great grandchildren, Collin Ryan, Gabby Ryan, Bella Remington, Ethan Remington, Logan Remington, Malcolm Eldridge, Nathaniel Burton, Shyrie Burton, Caleb Burton and Elisha Burton; her sisters, Stella Lane (DeWaine) and Pat Sellers; and her sisters-in-law, Ellen Kea and Betty Smitherman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
