He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles V. "C. V." and Opal Lawless; his sister Ann Abeyta; his grandparents, Robert, Ora Eitel and Ellen Lawless; and his nephew Mike Abeyta.
He is survived by: his pet Buster; his cousins, Paul Lawless of De Leon and Bob Howell of Comanche; his brother-in-law Juan Abeyta; his nephew Mark Abeyta; and his niece Kathy Fundus.
