He was predeceased by: his father Walter Izear Beard, Sr.; and his sister Kay Griffitts. He is survived by: his mother Zoble Mae Williams Beard; and his siblings, Ed Beard (Nannette), Vickie Wegner (Bill) and Jackie Brightwell (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
