She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Earl Shanks and Thelma Lee Fingleman Shanks; and her brother Granville Shanks. She is survived by: her children, Marian Stampley (Michael) and Robert Martin (Frances); and her grandchildren, Cassandra Cronkite, Christopher Stampley (Christy), Robert Bryan Martin (Jeanne Anne), Benjamine Stampley and Kathryn Martin. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
