With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Mitchum of Dayton, Texas, born in Silas, Alabama, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur William Mitchum and Ida Mae Busby Mitchum; his daughter Kathy Fennell; and his siblings, Leroy Mitchum, Rease Mitchum, William Mitchum, Chester Mitchum, Glen Mitchum, J. T. Mitchum, Laurine Udiz, Betty "Dill" Joslin and Ruth "Tad" Goodson.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Mitchum; his children, Steve Mitchum, Robert Mitchum, Debbie Mitchum, Randy Mitchum and Kerrie Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Inez Mitchum and Dorothy Mitchum. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
