With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deacon Lee C. Johnson of Dayton, Texas, born in Jasper, Texas, who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Johnson and Florence Moore Johnson; his son Carl Lester Johnson; his wife Dorothy Jean; and his daughter Rita Kaye.
He is survived by: his former spouse Myrt Doyle; his children, Cherlyn Mitchell (Thomas), Sydelia Bailey, Lee Johnson (Lois), Barbara Simmons, Bobby Johnson (Cleo), Regina Darkins (Robert), Charles Johnson (Evelyna), Cathy Johnson and Rosie Lemelle (Ruth Gants); and his pet Bernard. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, a host of great Grand-children, nieces, nephews.
