He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daryl Hampton Kanoy and Anna Belle Kanoy; his son Douglas James Kanoy; his brother Robert Dale Kanoy; his sister-in-law Billie Kanoy; his sister Nancy Kanoy Hurlbut; his stepson Bradley James Loria; his son-in-law Robert Keith Holt; his wife Ola Marie Gardner Kanoy; his daughter Angela Kanoy Hambrick (James Lloyd Hambrick, Sr.); his stepchildren, Randy Lloyd Loria (Kittie Yvonne Loria), Kenneth Duane Loria, Troy Gardner Loria (Dana Gunn Loria) and Suzanne Loria Holt; and his brother-in-law George Hurlbut. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
