He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Mooring and Mauva Lorraine Nunn; his wives, Eileen Margaret Mooring and Bessie Byrd Mooring; and his siblings, Billie Jo Magerkurth and Jimmy Mooring.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Ring (Eric), Sandra Hubbard (John), Melissa Sandiford (Arthur), Lori Frazer (Gary Brothers), Wanda Mercer (Roy) and Greg Ricks (Agnes); and his brother Johnny Ray Mooring. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
