He was predeceased by: his father James Bower; and his son Brad Alan Bower. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joshua James (Renea Bower) of Bushland, Texas, Keri Lynn (Brian Banks) of Wallace, Nebraska and Scott Edward (Stefanie Bower) of Dalhart; his wife Vicki Bower; his mother Lee Smith of Dalhart; his brother David Bower of Panhandle; and his grandchildren, Sam, Lexi of Gabrielle, JJ, Sarah, Tayler, Riley, Analice, Jashua and Mackenzie. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; many cousins and great aunts and uncles.
