He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Shannon Matthews of Claude, TX, Courtney Hale of Canyon, TX, Amber Blanton (Sean) of Webster, TX and Shawn Blanton Jr. (Jayme) of Sanger, TX; his siblings, Steve Deeter (Maxine) of La Sal, UT, Joe Deeter (Teresa) of Dumas, TX and Susie Macdonald of Benson, AZ; and his grandchildren, Maddie Matthews, Hayley Conner, Oliver Matthews, Nolan Blanton, Piper Hale, Oakley Blanton and Riley Blanton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
