He is survived by: his parents, Ruben Leal, Sr. (Rosabelle) of Dalhart and Hilda Cordova (Billy Gonzalez) of Clovis, NM; his children, Ashley Leal, Jonathan Leal, Zeriah Leal and Ashton Stapleton; his brothers, Anthony Leal and Chandra Godinez; his nephew Michael Travis Leal (Megon); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Manuel and Amris Baca; his grandchildren, Anaya, Aura Galindo, Aiswaya and Aellum Alvarez; and also, Frank and Kristy Baca. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
