It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Sisneros of Dalhart, Texas, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Sisneros and Tomacita Sisneros (Archuleta); his son Michael Clayton Sisneros; and his siblings, Gilbert Sisneros, Cornelia Martinez, Ernestine Trujillo, Paul Gilbert and Inasita.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Carmel Sisneros of Dalhart, TX; his daughters, Pamela Phelps of Dalhart, TX and Amanda Sisneros (Abade) of Clayton, NM; his granddaughters, Taysha Hancock (Tead) of Walsh, Johnna Phelps of Dalhart, TX, Tricia Sisneros (James Egerton) of Clayton, NM and Braelynn Hancock of Walsh; his siblings, George Sisneros (Eloise Sisneros) of Aztec, NM, Martha Sisneros and Beatrice Maynes of Clayton, NM; his godchildren, Stella Trujillo, Abbie Walker, Tiffany Galdean, Charles Arguello, Paul Galdean, Antoinette Pirelli, Kevin Wheeler and Steve Aragon; and his nephews, Pallbearers, Abade Sisneros, Tead Hancock, James Egerton, Larry Sisneros, Travis Donegan and Richie Gallegos.
After Michael moved away, Travis would pick dad up and make sure he still got to fish even as his Parkinson's progressed.
