She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Wayne Casey and Esther Swanson; her husband Wayne Frates; her son Timothy Frates; and her sister Arlene Bratt.

She is survived by: her close friend Wayne; her son Kelly Frates (Keli An) of Dalhart, TX; her daughter-in-law Jackie Frates Raile (Butch) of Hamilton, MT.; her grandsons, Aaron McBride (Liz) and Shane McBride (Hannah) of Portland, OR.; her sister-in-law Virginia Frates of Paxton; her nieces, Beverly Frates McMahon, Linda Watson and Carol Bratt; and also, Stan Spencer and Randy Spencer.

The family requests memorials may be made to the UCC Congregational Church of Brule or charity of your choice.
