He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon and Maria of Jesus Saenz; his son Ruben M. Saenz Jr.; and his brothers, Rosalio Saenz and Raymond Saenz.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his daughters, Terri Hunt (Frank) and Mimi; his grandchildren, Dr. Devery Hunt, Jensen Hunt, Garon Hunt, Alyssa Reyes and Nicholas Reyes; and his siblings, Rene Saenz, Roque Saenz, Rachel Rivas and Rosalinda Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
