He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schauer and Billie Elsey Schauer; and his sister Martha Linda Schauer. He is survived by: his children, Robert James Schauer (Sheena), Benjamin Joshua Schauer and Christina Jennifer Jewel Schauer; his sister Julie Ecker (Robert); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Jake, Andy, Lexi and R. J.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
